Welcome to Give Cares

After the tragic suicide of Give E. Clerzeau, a beloved son, brother, and member of the Haitian community, his family was left devastated. In the aftermath, they began to recognize what they hadn’t seen before; they lacked the awareness or community support needed to understand the apparent signs. Like many in Haitian and Caribbean communities, mental health was often unspoken, hidden behind stigma, silence, and cultural barriers. Out of that pain came purpose, leading to the creation of Give Cares. This organization focuses on charity initiatives to ensure no family misses those signs again. We aim to raise awareness, break stigma, and provide culturally relevant support, especially for Haitian men and families, so that individuals can receive help before it’s too late. Our mission is simple: Turn pain into purpose. Transform loss into hope.
